The Scout is our smaller size scarf: 25 inches x 25 inches. Soft in hand and light in weight, it's the perfect accessory for those hot summer days. With endless ways to wear it—around your wrist, your neck, or the handle of your tote—you'll never get bored of The Scout.
Our Storm colored hand-dyed scarf is a deep blue tone that resembles indigo. It is 100% silk, with a slightly crinkled texture, and graceful drape. The beauty is in the details with its hand-rolled edge sewn with 100% silk thread. All scarves come with a brass Scarf Slide and our "How to Wear Your Scout Scarf Guide.” Our current in-house processing time for wearables is 2-3 business days + the shipping method you select. Please visit our Processing Info Page for further details and information on rush processing.
Our current in-house processing time for all ribbon and wearable products is 2-3 business days + the shipping method you select. If you purchase a textile we have a current lead time of 10 business days + shipping, as each silk textile is dyed-to-order. If you need your order sooner, please select Rush Processing at checkout.
Rush Processing is a service which will put your order at the front of the production line and is an added 30% fee to your total order. Our whole team of gals stops what they're doing and focuses full attention on your order. Rush orders delay all other orders and projects in our studio. It's a service for those moments you find yourself in a ribbon emergency. If you need your order rushed, please select the HELP! option in your cart during checkout. For ribbons and wearables, rushing your order will reduce the processing time from 2-3 business days to 1 business day. For textiles, rush processing reduces the 10 business day production time to 5 business days.
We currently ship using USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders and DHL Express for orders outside the US. For more information on our shipping policies, visit our shipping info page.
To clean your textiles you can dry clean, hand, or machine wash on cold. Depending on the stain, silk is best washed by hand with a mild detergent. Rinse well, squeeze out surplus moisture by rolling in a towel and hang to dry or tumble dry. Never spot treat your silk textile. Rubbing one area of silk can cause lightening in just that spot. For moderate stain removal, especially ones in the middle, wash the entire textile. Dark or unsightly stains should be taken to a dry cleaner.
I bought 4 different colors (storm, berry, olive and sea) of the scout scarf as gifts for godmothers and my son's teachers. Everyone loved theirs, in particular they loved the brass ring and felt that was the extra selling feature to make it so attractive to put around their neck. I am so jealous I didn't buy myself one...birthday is coming up though ;) All the colors were so beautiful and saturated!! :)
