'The Hankie' Washable Silk Scarf in Bone
A life essential for you to take anywhere, each scarf is made from 100% washable-silk, has a hand-rolled and hand-sewn edge. Meant to be lived-in, worn, and washed, our hand-dyed heirloom scarves have a bit of magic in their making.
'The Hankie' is our smallest silk scarf: approximately 15 inches x 15 inches. Soft in hand and light in weight, it's the perfect everyday accessory. Versatile and functional, it can be used as a pocket square, napkin, bandana, purse tassel, or a traditional hankie —you'll never run out of ways to wear 'The Hankie'.
Each scarf comes packaged in our signature sustainable paper tube with our How To Scarf Style Guide.
Our current in-house processing time for all ribbon and wearable products is 2-3 business days + the shipping method you select. If you purchase a textile we have a current lead time of 10 business days + shipping, as each silk textile is dyed-to-order. If you need your order sooner, please select Rush Processing at checkout.
Rush Processing is a service which will put your order at the front of the production line and is an added 30% fee to your total order. Our whole team of gals stops what they're doing and focuses full attention on your order. Rush orders delay all other orders and projects in our studio. It's a service for those moments you find yourself in a ribbon emergency. If you need your order rushed, please select the HELP! option in your cart during checkout. For ribbons and wearables, rushing your order will reduce the processing time from 2-3 business days to 1 business day. For textiles, rush processing reduces the 10 business day production time to 5 business days.
We currently ship using USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders and DHL Express for orders outside the US. For more information on our shipping policies, visit our shipping info page.
To clean your textiles you can dry clean, hand, or machine wash on cold. Depending on the stain, silk is best washed by hand with a mild detergent. Rinse well, squeeze out surplus moisture by rolling in a towel and hang to dry or tumble dry. Never spot treat your silk textile. Rubbing one area of silk can cause lightening in just that spot. For moderate stain removal, especially ones in the middle, wash the entire textile. Dark or unsightly stains should be taken to a dry cleaner.
